The MDS control panel main screen is very simple and easy to navigate. On this screen and those that follow, many menu buttons and selections are active and lead to the same screen or dialog boxes you would see on a live system. In order to shorten download times and make navigation through the screens easier, some dialog boxes have been combined on a single screen.
The main screen shows the status of each MPC9604 and detector in the system. You can quickly see if a detector is idle (green), waiting (yellow), or counting (red). Pressing the color button for a detector will show the complete status for that detector in detail.
